Weather

Seville has a mild Mediterranean climate, with warm, sunny summers and cool, mild, winters. The hottest months are July and August, with temperatures sometimes reaching a high of 99°F (37°C). Temperatures are, however, sometimes modified by cool sea breezes - a relief at the height of summer. Spring is perhaps the best time to travel to Seville as temperatures are more moderate, though still warm.

Electricity

Electrical current in Seville is 220 V/50 Hz. Round, European-style two-pin plugs are used. Appliances designed to operate on 110/120 Volts need a voltage converter and a plug adapter.

The time zone in Seville is GMT + 1 hour. Daylight Saving Time is used during the summer.

Smoking Policy

Seville has a ban on smoking in bars and restaurants. Designated smoking areas are located outside.

Shopping Hours

Shops are generally open from 10:00 to 14:00 and from 17.00 to 20:30 hours, Mondays through Saturdays. Department stores and malls usually open from 10:00 to 22:00 and do not close for lunch.

Restaurants

In most restaurants, the kitchen opens from 13:00-16:00 h in the afternoon and from 20.00-24.00h at night. Service is included, you only give tips if you are really satisfied.
